Be a part of movie-making... Your trash could make it up on the big screen! That's right... we want to find some of those hidden gems for "Under Jakob's Ladder"... right here in the New York City Tristate Area. This movie is a cross between "Life is Beautiful" and "The Hiding Place", set in the land of "Fiddler on the Roof"... Here is a list of the kind of props we're looking for: bowls for soup -- wooden or aluminum/tin spoons -- plain, wooden or aluminum/tin big aluminum cooking pot straw brooms -- wooden old kitchen utensils, like ladles, etc. -- wooden or aluminum old, simple table and chairs (does not have to be a set) wooden buckets tin milk cans wooden ladders metal wash tubs etc... Or maybe you have an attic full of old clothes. Stained... ripped... beyond repair... Yes! We want those clothes for our costumes... (Well, not just any clothes, but anything from the list below) men's vests (brown, grey, beige -- nothing too fancy -- see #3 in photo) men's sport jackets (see in photo #4) men's peasant caps (see #5 in photo) men's pants (brown, grey, beige, olive green -- the more frayed the better!) black leather trench coat (men's)** women's peasant style skirts, blouses, aprons (see #2) boots (black, leather, looking new or worn -- see #1 in photo) belts with simple buckle -- for men and women (see in photo #4) women's shawls (knitted) gloves (knitted) etc... **Note: If you do have items you'd rather not part with but would let us borrow for the film shoot, let us know. This could work out well, depending on what it is (many items will need to be "distressed" -- i.e. made to look older). Again, we are looking for items that are already located in the New York City area. Contact us... attention car owners We are also looking for someone in the New York City Tristate area who owns an old 1930s automobile (four door, black sedan) for use as the "Black Raven" -- the vehicle used by the secret police to take villagers away, secretly at night. (See photo for a sample of what we need -- while this is a model, we'd need the real thing! One day of shooting only).
