:: press release :: “Dear J” to be Featured Film on KNLC-TV in St. Louis on Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at 7:00 pm (Channel 24) NEW YORK, NY :: April 30, 2008 :: The feature film, 'Dear J' is looking to get its first television exposure... The date? Tuesday, May 13, 2008.  The station? KNLC-TV, Channel 24 in St. Louis, Missouri. The time? 7:00 pm. But this is not the first time CubeCity (and one of the Moon Brothers' projects) has made it to the "Gateway to the West". In 2003, one of their musicals called 'Epimenides' was presented in St. Louis with a troupe of local talent. But 'Dear J' is Cubecity's first film: a pilot project in which CubeCity is expanding from its roots in theatre. Says filmmaker Roberto Munoz, "While 'Epimenides' and the dozen or so musicals we've created are based on historical and classical works, this project ['Dear J'] is a little different. We've actually set the story in contemporary times!" 'Dear J' follows the story of an evangelist named James Jamisin who struggles with the untimely death of his agnostic girlfriend. 'Dear J' is a reference to the final letter his girlfriend wrote to him before her accident; a letter which James can’t bring himself to open. CubeCity has been gearing up for the DVD release of 'Dear J' in May.
