:: director, producer ::
Roberto MunozRoberto Muñoz launched into the entertainment industry in the 1980s as a concert and music festival promoter. He went on to manage the alternative rock band, Level Heads. In 1994, he produced and directed his first stage musical "Job and the Snake" in the Niagara Peninsula. He later opened a workshop theatre space in Toronto to develop shows which went on to showcase at the Betty Oliphant Theatre, home of the National Ballet School of Canada.
Some of these works have since been staged in venues in Los Angeles, St. Louis and most recently New York City, where he is now focusing on filmmaking.
In 1999, Muñoz directed the television special, "A Christmas Card", which first aired on Canada's Vision TV in December of that year. While he never enrolled in an official film program, Muñoz is not one to shy way from new challenges, like the writing and producing his first full-length feature film: "Dear J".

:: co-director ::
Mann MunozIn the 1990s, Mann Muñoz and his brother Miq formed an alternative rock band called Rasmania. An innovative bass-player, Mann initiates musical ideas for their Neo-Classical Leitourgia with his foundational tracks while brother Miq adds the ornamental musical coloration on guitar. This collaboration also resulted in the bulk of the musical soundtrack for the film, "Dear J".
In addition, they have created eight stage musicals, including the rock musical "Job and the Snake". In 2000, Mann Muñoz was a key player in staging the musical Job in Los Angeles at the Grove Theatre. After a move to New York City, he tried his hand at directing the children’s musical Aesop in the Off-Broadway venue, the Producers Club Theatre.
When the decision was made to pursue filming "Dear J", he took an active role in casting the film. Having worked from the earliest phase of the creation of the script, he was a natural choice to co-direct this work.
