Carson Grant studied acting during the 1970s with Lee Strasberg. He has since created character roles in over 250 films. His recent films include "The House Is Burning" (Cannes Film Festival); "Glengarry, Bob Ross"; "Dead Serious"; and "Imago Indigo". Among his most fortunate moments is his romantic kiss with Christina Ricci in Woody Allen's "Anything Else" as Ron Keller, Acting teacher.

Q&A :: Carson Grant
On his role as Dr. Donovin and Prosecutor Dubious in "Dear J"...Q: As an actor, how do you choose which roles you accept?
A: I look at how the script questions life.Q: What did you think when you read the script?
A: I enjoyed the weave of the story and characters.Q: What drew you to the characters of Dr. Donovin and Dubious?
A: The dualism necessary of the characters. To each other; then to the other characters.Q: How do you feel about playing the "villain"?
A: Great. Since I am a calm easy going person, searching the opposite temperaments and feelings each has.
Q: Who is your favorite character in the film?
A: All my witnesses [in the courtroom]. Honestly, I believe each actor gave life to their characters in a wonderful way.Q: Which scene did you find challenging?

Q: What was it like to work with Director Roberto Munoz and Co-Director Mann Munoz?
A: Very Efficient. Did they ever eat or sleep??? Their patience.Q: What was your favorite line of dialogue from the film?
A: All of them. I really enjoyed the arch of the lines. Or I tried to change them, and sometimes they let me.Q: Tell about some of your memories of working on this film.
A: Picking up Chinese breakfast cakes and breads while waiting for the bus to Whitestone, after the long subway ride on the #7.Q: What's the craziest thing you have ever done?
