Joseph Halsey's television credits include "Law and Order", a recurring role on "Law and Order SVU" (Officer Wood), and "The Cosby Show" (Wayne). He has also been featured on "Guiding Light", "One Life to Live", and "America's Most Wanted". Off-Broadway Theatre Credits include "Irish Ain't Smilin'" (Lisp), "The Insanity of Mary Girard" (Mr. Hatcher), "Desert Storm: The First 28 Days" (Private Herder), and "Television Anesthesia" (Ed).

Allison Lane :: dr. frolick

When she was about 10 years old, she discovered she wasn’t going to be an Olympic Ice Skater. So, she tried the stage: "I got hooked." About two years ago, Allison discovered a passion for the world of filmmaking. She has been involved in over 50 projects in both film and television. "Though I will always love the stage, the art of filmmaking is one of the most wondrous things I’ve ever known."  Some of her film credits include "Victoriana", "Mirrors", and "Changing the Odds." Television credits include "It’s All Geek to Me" for the Discovery Channel, and "Uncle Morty’s Dub Shack" (ImaginAsian TV).

Carson Grant :: dr. donovin

Carson Grant studied acting during the 1970s with Lee Strasberg. He has since created character roles in over 250 films. His recent films include "The House Is Burning" (Cannes Film Festival); "Glengarry, Bob Ross"; "Dead Serious"; and "Imago Indigo". Among his most fortunate moments is his romantic kiss with Christina Ricci in Woody Allen's "Anything Else" as Ron Keller, Acting teacher.

Maya Serhan :: paige

Maya is a Palestinian-American actress who came to New York eight years ago, and began her training at AADA. She has appeared in various independent films: "Tango Volto", "Winter Holiday" and "Solitude". She was last seen in "Together" by Jason Hammonds. Maya's theatre credits include a lead role in the original play, "How his Bride came to Abraham" by Karen Sunde, "Logic of the Birds" at the Lincoln Festival and Maxim Gorky's "The Wood Demon".

Patrick Mitchell :: staples

Having performed on stage for more than 20 years, Patrick's theatre credits include the role of Malcolm X in "The Meeting", "A Raisin in the Sun", "Spell #7", "Grey Panthers", "Ceremonies in Dark Old Men", and "Fences". Patrick Mitchell has also performed in New York City's Shakespeare in the Park in the title role of "Othello". His television credits include "Law and Order" and "New York News". His film credits include: "Eddie", "Ruff Neck", and "Rubicon Red".

Karen Lynn Gorney :: the judge

Karen Lynn Gorney :: the judge

The co-star of ‘Saturday Night Fever’, she played the fantasy girlfriend who said “No” to John Travolta. Miss Gorney also plays the legendary Tara Martin (Tad’s big sister, Erica’s mortal enemy) on ABC’s award-winning ‘All My Children.’ In addition to this, she portrays the role Judy on ‘The Sopranos’. A classically trained actress, and winner of the People’s Choice and European Bravo Awards, she holds a BFA from Carnegie Mellon and an MFA from Brandeis University in Acting and Speech. The daughter of the composer of ‘Brother Can You Spare a Dime’ (Jay Gorney), she recently released a new CD of his hits called ‘Hot Moonlight!’

Michael C. Kricfalusi :: the bailiff

He has been very busy this past year and is looking forward to many more good things to come. Besides being Casting Director, First A.D. and the role of Bailiff in ‘Liars & Lunatics,’ he produced and starred in a film called ‘Special Needs’ which has been screened at a number of film festivals and is slated for more. Upcoming projects include a relocation to Los Angeles where he hopes to become even more involved in the film industry. Next up acting-wise is the role of a guard at a concentration camp in a film scheduled to shoot in early 2007.

Amanda Michelle Short :: avie

Amanda Michelle Short :: avie

Born and raised in Indiana, Amanda has been performing since age 5. Her life changed dramatically after a week’s vacation in NYC…This small-town girl fell in love in the big city and decided to stay! She played the role of Avie Malvideo in the stage version of "The Trial." Training: School for Film & Television, NYC (acting); Richard Danley, Mus. Dir. (voice). When Amanda is not performing, she has a knack for designing and hand embroidering show jackets for Broadway shows. Much love goes out to family and friends back home and XO to my CAT.

Hudson Chambers :: davie

Hudson Chambers :: davie

He started out as a freelance production assistant in New York on many different projects—from Indie films to music videos to commercials. He mentioned to the producer of one job that he would rather be acting: "They told me, 'Go to wardrobe. You're doing this scene today.' I ended up getting my SAG card." Hudson joins CubeCity once again as he reprises the role as Davie Malvideo from the stage version: "The Trial". Other film and television credits: "Spin City", "Music from the Heart", "All My Children", and "Tar".

Ron Kuriloff :: prof. boltmaniac

played the role of Prof. Bultmaniac in "The Trial", the stage-version of the film "Dear J". Other stage credits include: ‘Lost in Yonkers’ (Eddie), "Dancing at Lughnasa" (Father Jack), "Night Of The Iguana" (Reverend Shannon), "Ten Little Indians" (Wargrave), "Mame" (Mr. Linsey-Woolsey), and the title role in "Joseph". Film credits include: "Headphonica" (Neil Forge), "Chats With Dr. Phinash" (Dr. Phinash), and "Mug". Ron has trained at the Herbert Berghof Studios and the Atlantic Theater Company.

Bruce Nicholls :: hume

Bruce Nicholls :: philosopher hume

(Philosopher Hume) He has appeared in both film & theatre in New York, Los Angeles, Australia, & regionally; most recently in the film "Bacterium" (Professor Ethelred). Other roles include: a national tour as Don Quixote, a couple of Sherlock Holmes pieces, a Tom Stoppard, some Shakespeare, plus turns as Boolie ("Driving Miss Daisy"), John Barrymore ("Mr. Shaw Goes to Hollywood"), Roat ("Wait Until Dark"), Mr. Manningham ("Angel Street") and Paul ("If Peanuts Were Emeralds"). So he's kinda done the gamut of protagonist, antagonist, comedy & drama, enjoying them all. Bruce resides in Manhattan with his lovely Elisa.

Heidi Azaro :: mother parrot

Heidi Azaro :: mother parrot

Growing up a shy and introverted child, you could only catch Heidi really being social in a school play. Some of her recent credits include the award-winning play "Yo Soy Latina" as Louisa; the film short "The White Rose" with Dominick Chianese (Sopranos); and the Los Angeles comedy sketch shows "Have a Bundt Cake, Martha" and "The Female Perspective". Heidi also danced with two Middle Eastern Dance companies, and as a solo Cabaret performer on the East & West Coasts and internationally in Egypt.

Myron Buchholz :: fumbles

Myron reprises his role of Fumbles (aka Mumbles from the stage version of "The Trial") for "Dear J". He holds a BA in Theatre and has appeared in a range of New York City productions, including "Darwin's Revenge", "Pilgrim in Wonderland", "Ruth", "Joseph and his Brothers", and "Esther". Myron has participated in various roles in Summer Stock in Santa Rosa, California.

Robert Glasser has appeared in numerous independent and student films. His stage credits include: "The Cocktail Party" (Theatre-Studio, Inc.); "Richard III" (Clemente Soto Velez); "Macbeth" (Impact); "Cyrano de Bergerac", "Lysistrata", "A Midsummer Night's Dream", "Sextangle" and "Grand Guignol" (Queens Players); "The Laramie Project" (Prism Players); "I Shall Not Be Suede" (Manhattan Theatre Source). Rob has a B.A. in history from Yale and has studied acting at the T. Schreiber Studio and the Barrow Group School.
